City elections (Elecciónes Municipales)Upcoming City Election
The City of Flatonia will be holding an election on Saturday May 12, 2012. At this time, the seats that will be up for election are held by Councilpersons Tyler Mica and Bryan Milson and Mayor Scott Mica. The first day to file an application for a place on the ballot for the election is Saturday, February 4, 2012. This is also the first day to file a declaration of write-in candidacy. The last day to file an application for a place on the ballot and also to file a declaration of write-in candidacy for the general election is March 5, 2012. These dates are mandated by state law. Please come by City Hall at 125 E. South Main, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm to pick up information for filing for any of these positions. La proxima elección La próxima Elección Municipal para la Ciudad de Flatonia esta programada para el 12 de mayo de 2012. Habra dos posiciones abiertas para tres Concejos de la Ciudad (concejales) en esta eleccion general. La votación del 12 de mayo de 2012 se llevara acabo en la Cámaras de ayuntamiento en la municipalidad de Flatonia, localizada en 125 E. South Main.
